Job Description
This role is part of the Structuring & Execution (S&E) department, which includes expertise in project management, contract and purchasing management, supply chain, construction, and technical services. The role involves two primary workstreams:
- Continuous improvement: Developing and implementing processes, tools, models, and training to enhance operations and project execution.
- Project support: Participating in projects at various stages, particularly in structuring and execution, with a focus on S&E-related responsibilities.
As a High Voltage (HV) Grid Connection Engineer, you will join the Electrical Engineering team, handling all grid-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for grid connection in projects globally.
- Manage consultants and subcontractors in engineering-related topics.
- Assess risks associated with grid connection for projects in different regions.
- Define technical specifications for EPC contracts, equipment purchases, and engineering services.
- Lead technical discussions with advisors, insurers, and EPC contractors.
Qualifications:
Must-have:
- Minimum of six years of experience in electrical infrastructure projects.
- International and multicultural exposure with proficiency in two languages.
- Expertise in relay coordination studies.
- Knowledge of medium and high voltage equipment standards, HV substations, grid connection studies, and grid integration.
Nice-to-have:
- Proficiency in an additional language, especially for projects in specific regions.
- Experience in renewable energy projects.
