As Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of our finance function. Reporting to the Finance Director and working closely with the Finance Assistants, you will ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes and contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Management Accounts: Assist in the timely and accurate production of management accounts.
• Financial Systems: Support the implementation of Management Information systems and provide real-time financial updates.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly balance sheet and nominal ledger reconciliations.
• Ledger Management: Ensure accurate posting of sales and purchase ledger invoices and payments.
• Budgeting: Aid in the annual business planning cycle and budget preparation.
• Income Reconciliation: Reconcile income from F&B outlets, donations, and memberships.
• Journal Entries: Prepare and post journals within month-end deadlines.
• Collaboration: Develop collaborative relationships with other departments to understand their financial needs.
• Year-End Accounts: Assist in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and work with auditors.
• Cashflow Monitoring: Monitor and report on the organisation's cashflow.
• Payroll: Ensure payroll is prepared and submitted to the outsourced payroll service on time.
• VAT and Gift Aid: Prepare VAT and Gift Aid returns for review.

What We're Looking For:
AAT qualified, part or fully qualified accountant

• Experience with SAGE 50 is preferred.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Proven experience in a similar role or related area.
• Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Excel.
