CNC Machinist

This engineering company is a leader in the industry, specialising in the design, manufacture and repair of hydraulic equipment. Responsibilities Operate and program CNC machines to manufacture precision components. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job instructions. Perform routine machine setup and calibration. Ensure quality and precision in all machining tasks, adhering to tolerances and specifications. Inspect finished products to maintain high-quality standards. Work collaboratively with the design and engineering teams to enhance productivity and quality. Troubleshoot and maintain CNC machinery to minimise downtime. Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work area. Requirements Grade 12 or relevant equivalent tertiary qualification Must have a valid Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter and Turner or Toolmaker Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in an engineering or hydraulics environment. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications. Strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and operations. Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
