Logistics Manager

You will part of an international team and coordinate the logistics in South Africa as well as support the logistics for export overseas. . Responsibilities: Coordinate Seafreight outbound logistics on all trades Manage third party service providers: freight forwarders and transporters Build relationships with shipping lines and negotiate rates Transport coordination, loading and off-loading of produce for exports Be available 24/7 on-call for transport queries and coordination decisions that needs to be made Arrange inspections as needed Support on marine insurance claims Manage and interact professionally with clients and growers on logistics matters Administration handling of the export process, related documents and the rest Requirements: Qualification in Logistics essential (Degree or Diploma) Min 3 years experience in the fruit industry essential Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English) Affinity in the fruit industry is an advantage Brings enthusiasm and team spirit to the business
