Your new company is a Global Engineering Consultancy working across numerous sectors, including Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy and Pharmaceutical. They are well known industry-leaders within the Engineering Sector, and looking to expand their Mechanical Engineering Team.
Your new role
They are looking for a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their team to assist in their latest nuclear projects. You will be responsible for creating detailed documentation, reporting changes to facility and equipment, and ensuring the mechanical systems meet the stringent requirements of the nuclear industry. In this role, you will be involved with the review, reporting, and repair details of a well-established storage and testing facility. This includes conducting inspections, maintaining accurate records of system performance, and detailing necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and efficiency of the facility, contributing to the integrity and reliability of the systems that support our operations.What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with demonstrable experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the nuclear or similar high-regulation industry. You will have proven experience of creating technical documentation and reporting with solid expertise in mechanical system design, installation, and maintenance. You will need to be eligible for Security Clearance.
What you'll get in return
In return for this role, you will receive a contract rate of up to £55.00 p/h Inside IR35 on a 6+ month contract. The role can be performed remotely with site and office visits as required.
