The Clinical Nurse Program Manager (CNPM) within the Shipley Medical Simulation Center is responsible for managing and coordinating clinical simulation education programs, simulation operations, and simulation related finances and budget. The CNPM ensures the delivery of high-quality simulation-based education across the organization and works in collaboration with the Simulation Center’s Medical Director and other key stakeholders. The focus of this role is in the following key areas: - Provides operational leadership and strategic direction for the Simulation Center. - Provides direct oversight to the Simulation Technology Specialist(s) to design and implement high-quality simulation education. - Fosters intraprofessional learning opportunities to advance teamwork, communication, and experiential learning in a psychologically safe environment to positively influence improvement of patient outcomes. - Collaborates with CRICO, CRICO Course Directors, and Nurse Educators to design simulation programs that comply with CRICO requirements and align with organizational and regulatory objectives. - Collaborates with providers, educators, clinicians, and academic partners from affiliated institutions to strategize and execute education programs. - Ensures simulation equipment is properly maintained and functional according to manufacturer recommendations, implementing regular maintenance schedules, and coordinating repairs as necessary. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience in Nursing Education and Curriculum Design required, including Nursing leadership and clinical nursing experience required. Savvy with Computer Technology a must. Exceptional teamwork and intra professional collaboration required.
