Provide input to management for the use in developing the branch business plan

Measure, monitor, and communicate updates regarding performance against specific initiatives as outlined in the branch business plan

Daily coaching and performance management. Monitor employee activity, productivity and quality metrics;

Gather data and provide input to support the creation of financial performance goals, including a revenue and expense budget, for the supervised team

Encourage employee feedback through formal and informal channels (engagement survey, manager feedback)

Participate and support carrier procurement strategies for committed capacity process to provide quality coverage options

Utilize analytics to drive decision making, manage employee performance and improve quality. Promote usage among the team to ensure appropriate action is being taken in response to results

Champion organizational transformation. Work closely with next level leader to drive effective change management and employee adoption of new tools, technology, processes or expectations

Participate in functional projects as needed

Build, manage, and leverage internal relationships with capacity peers that reinforces a culture of one team and enables the execution of high-quality coverage, ethical issue resolution, and process or service improvements

High School Diploma or GED
-
Minimum 4 years of ROAD FREIGHT experience; capacity experience preferred
-
Minimum 2 year of prior team management experience
-
Fluent French and English (written and verbal).

Other EU languages such as Spanish or Italian will be valuable

Strong ability to persuade, motivate, negotiate, and influence others

Be able and willing to travel up to 20%
