Installation Engineer

Job Purpose

The installation and inspection of access and safety equipment and site management across the UK at their clients’ sites.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

· Installation and inspection of flexible anchor lines.

· Installation of bespoke access equipment to include fixed ladders, plant access and steelwork.

· Site management as PC under CDM.

· Mentoring their team of trainees.

Person Specification

Essential Requirements

· Extensive knowledge of anchor systems conforming to BS EN 795 & 7883

· Existing manufacturer certification in the installation of flexible anchor lines.

· Previous experience in design/installation of height safety fabrications.

· Punctual.

· High attention to detail.

· Good numeracy and literacy levels.

· Ability to communicate with all levels of management and face to face with clients.

· Full clean driving license.

· Flexible with working hours, including working away if required.

Desirable Requirements

· Experience of multi-site project streams.

· SMSTS.

· Ability to survey for fabrications
