A Corporate Finance Analyst - FP&A is wanted by one of the world's major players; they're home to some of the globe's best-known artists and they also operate several businesses designed to help aspiring artists take their music to a wider audience. They are actively growing their repertoire and seek a bright, driven finance professional to fill the newly created role of Corporate Finance Analyst - FP&A.

Reporting to a Divisional Finance Director, the Corporate Finance Analyst - FP&A will play a key role in delivering the company's growth strategy as they develop their presence across, primarily, Africa, Asia & India. Duties will include:

Work closely with the central FP&A and in-market team to assist with deal analysis (i.e. A&R, Licensing, JV / Profit Share, M&A etc), operating performance, market / competitive analysis, strategic opportunities and ad-hoc projects.
Support M&A process through partnership with key stakeholders from initial assessment of new & existing artists and writers, in-depth financial modelling, market & potential target analysis, due diligence, exec committee updates, integration and post-transaction M&A review.
Preparation & submission of transaction summaries, board presentations, deal commentaries, valuations, etc.
Liaise with regional / local finance teams to ensure financial accuracy and consistency with budgets and forecasts.
Interact with cross-functional groups to ensure progress through deal approval process; provide regular updates / on-going deal analysis.

The ideal candidate for the position of Corporate Finance Analyst - FP&A will:

Be a qualified accountant (or equivalent) with specific experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Valuations and / or Financial Modelling.
Enjoy building & developing financial models whilst working with ambiguity and occasionally subjective information.
Work well to deadlines and be able to flex their approach by stakeholder, cultural requirements or business needs.
Take pride in their attention to detail, written work and ability to present information to diverse audiences.
Seek a role that will see them exposed to genuine decision-making at an early stage.

Salary: £70000 - £80000 + 15% bonus + excellent benefits
