Job Description

The Business:

A big global professional services and outsourcing business. In the last financial year, they generated c.£3bn in revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive a Procurement agenda into a growing space i.e. being proactive and taking hold and ownership of opportunities, shaping deals and driving governance, often within tight timescales
Ownership of large levels of spend across a wide range of IT procurement projects. Projects will vary in value from c.£1m up to £20m+
Run strategic procurement projects end to end in IT sub-category areas such as SaaS, Cloud, Software, Telco
Challenge stakeholders to a senior level in the right way in order to drive the procurement agenda and achieve positive, 'value-add' resultsKey Skills:

You must be proactive in your approach
Resilient in character - able to challenge stakeholders to achieve a positive result
Have a strong track record within the IT category, ideally in SaaS, Cloud, Software or Telco
Able to navigate a large complex blue-chip environment and cut through the noise, prioritising effectively
Someone who understands what 'best in class' procurement looks like and can bring new ideas to the table
An ability to develop and implement category strategy
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ideally experience in the IT industry
CIPS/Degree or equivalent qualification would be usefulWhat is in it for you?
