Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to work with our very exciting client at their very exciting offices (its a secret for now!), based in Northampton. You will be responsible for providing excellent financial and business services. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail. You MUST have experience in month end, P&L, accruals and prepayments for this post.

Description
Provide accurate and timely financial information
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Report on the company's financial health and liquidity
Audit financial transactions and documents
Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
Provide input into department's goal setting process
Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to scheduleProfile
A successful Accountant should have:
Proven experience with month end and P&L
Proven experience in accruals and prepayments
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
High attention to detail
Confidence and personality to speak to customers and build great relationships
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Advanced MS Excel skills
Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
Be studying towards or already have AAT qualification or other accounting qualificationJob Offer
