Job Description

Here at TXM Recruit we are recruiting for an Operability Engineer working on HS2 infastructure monitoring system.

Complete ownership and delivery of the HS2 Infrastructure Monitoring work package for Current Project and upcoming bid support for this system.

This will include but not limited to the following:

Requirements management (Review, Accept, Create and manage SRDs, Compliance argument, V&V method, submit evidence, work with all internal and external stakeholders as required).
Manage CDR, PDR, DDR etc
Supplier selection and management.
Develop solution with supplier/s:
Design and integrate hardware
Data management in line with expectations
Supplier tests and FAI
BoM List
Mechanical and Electrical Integration with other WPOs.
Write Test Specification and support test team.
Manage all through companies systems such as Project Place, DOORS and GPLM.
Be point of contact for IM system with Customer, Supplier, company divisions etc.
Working on future bids & developing solutions
There are a number of areas that require immediate attention:

Supplier Selection and SRD Stage reviews
Hardware integration of UOMS hardware in the pantograph well.
Hardware integration of UGMS hardware within the underframe space envelope
Hardware integration of the PC, Power supply equipment inside saloon
Customer requirements and TTS (Zero speed, sampling frequency etc) including outstanding RFI’s.
Software, data management, cyber security and alerts
Requirements management and SRDs
