Hirexo have exclusively partnered with a leading Insolvency Practice who are on the search to appoint a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner to join their rapidly growing Insolvency Practice. This opportunity is located at their Manchester City Centre office, offering hybrid working.

About the Licensed Insolvency Practitioner Role:
Our client is a highly successful insolvency practice, backed by a leading private equity firm, enabling them to strengthen their expertise and geographical reach through strategic acquisitions. With a long-standing history in the commercial insolvency sector, the practice has been a market leader for many years and is now expanding further into personal insolvency and Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs). The firm's growth has been driven by a dedicated team and a personable director who is committed to nurturing talent and fostering success across all teams.

Role Overview for the Licensed Insolvency Practitioner:
We are seeking a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner to join our client’s Manchester City Centre office. The role will be pivotal in maintaining and expanding the firm's commercial insolvency services, with the opportunity to contribute to the soon-to-launch personal/IVA division. This role offers a generous compensation package, including a market-leading commission structure, a supportive team environment, and flexible hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities for the Licensed Insolvency Practitioner:

Managing a diverse portfolio of insolvency cases, predominantly focused on commercial insolvency, with scope for involvement in personal insolvency/IVA work as the division grows.
Generating new business opportunities, leveraging both personal networks and the firm’s strategic acquisitions to expand the company’s client base.
Overseeing the delivery of high-quality insolvency solutions to clients, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
Working closely with the director and other senior management to drive business growth, participate in strategic planning, and contribute to the overall success of the firm.
Mentoring and developing junior members of the team, contributing to a collaborative and supportive working culture. Key Requirements for the Licensed Insolvency Practitioner:

Fully qualified and licensed Insolvency Practitioner (must hold a valid insolvency licence).
Must have one of the following UK-recognised qualifications:
Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) – This is the primary qualification required to practise as an insolvency practitioner in the UK.
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Insolvency Licence.
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Insolvency Licence.
Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI) Insolvency Licence.
Law Society Insolvency Licence (for solicitors).
Proven experience in either commercial insolvency or personal/IVA insolvency, though commercial insolvency experience is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to generate new business and maintain strong client relationships.
A minimum billing portfolio of £400,000.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a close-knit, team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. What’s on Offer for the Licensed Insolvency Practitioner:
