Sellick Partnership are delighted to be recruiting for a Systems Owner to join a growing not-for-profit Organisation. The Systems Owner is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and improvement of critical IT systems within the organisation. This role requires an understanding of system infrastructure, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure that systems meet the needs of the business.

The Systems Owner will be responsible for:

Collaborating with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to gather and document requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems and integrations.
Conducting thorough analysis of business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
Translating business requirements into technical specifications and use cases for Solution Architects, Systems Analysts, Infrastructure, Third Parties and Development teams.
Continuously assess system performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance system capability, scalability, security, and efficiency.
Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to ensure that systems meet security standards and compliance requirements.
Provide regular updates on system performance, projects, and initiatives, and solicit feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure that IT systems align with organisational goals.
Lead implementation of root cause analysis solutions from system and functionality downtime.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.

System Owner Experience:

Proven experience in IT system administration, with a focus on system management, optimisation, and security.
Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), virtualisation technologies, networking, and storage systems.
Strong Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Familiarity with relational databases, SQL queries, and data analysis tools is desirable.
