Job Description Summary

We are recruiting for a Finance Specialist to work as part of the UK Billings CoE for three UK sites, using two different business systems to generate and submit billings and associated transactions to our customers for payment.

Job Description

• Daily Processing and distribution of system generated customer invoices on two business systems in an accurate and timely manner to facilitate on time cash collection and minimise aged debt
• Ensure special customer invoicing requirements are met, including special invoicing packs for certain customers as per contractual requirements
• Ensure engineering milestone/stagepayment invoices are processed as per contractual terms, and within timescales and that they are submitted in the correct way.
• Produce manual credit notes and invoices as required.
• Internal Recharges
• Dispute Resolution
• Other Contractual obligations
• Dispute management:
• Use KPI’s on past dues and partnering with various areas of the business to resolve cash disputes to meet our targets.
• Attendance as required to monthly cash/dispute reviews.
• Regular control checks to ensure our ledgers are correct, and monitor our business system to ensure consistency, compliance, and accuracy.
• Closing Business System AR Periods and running required reports at month end.
• Review and maintain SOPs as needed in line with current processes.
• Support and drive development of new processes as required to meet our customers’ changing contractual needs on invoicing submission.
• Participate and drive relevant lean and simplification initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements

• This role requires a good level of experience in Finance
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Good level of experience with Microsoft packages - including Excel
