Performing routine maintenance tasks
Responsding to machine breakdowns to limit downtime
Keep detailed records of work carried out
Liase with suppliers to source parts
Work closely with production to ensure efficiency
Participate in continuous improvement activity Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
A strong technical understanding of manufacturing machinery.
The ability to work well under pressure and problem solve effectively.
Excellent communication skills for liaising with various departments and external suppliers.
A commitment to safety and quality.
A relevant qualification in an engineering or manufacturing discipline
