Job Description
Intro:
Cedar have partnered with a Global Fintech business to secure a qualified Finance Manager based in Central London. The role is a 12 month contract, paying a day rate of £450-£500 (dependent on experience)
The Company:
This well established Fintech company are experiencing a considerable amount of growth and are going from strength to strength and are now looking to hire a finance manager on a maternity cover for 12 months where you'll be responsible for managing a team of 5 credit controllers and billings assistants.
The Role:
Oversee a team responsible for the end to end billing process
Collaborate with the revenue, sales & account management teams to address discrepancies related to billable items
Manage the month end close process related to the billing function
Reconcile billing related general ledger accounts
Prepare and review monthly financial reports
Support the collection process
Support external audits
Maintain compliance with SOX requirements, ensuring controls are in place for all billing and reconciliation process
Your Profile:
Qualified Accountant
Team management experience - ideally managing a billing/credit team
Experience of working in a large multinational business - Essential
Experience of working in a Financial services or Fintech business - highly desirable
Along with paying a competitive day rate of £450-£500, the company offers a hybrid working pattern where you'd be expected to work in the office 2-3 days per week
