Scientific Programmer Analyst

This is a job for a Scientific Programmer Analyst with a company located in the Stennis Space Center, MS area.

Job Summary: ECS is seeking a qualified Scientific Programmer Analyst to join our team.

Qualifications: BS/BA Computer Science, Programming, Software Engineering, or related fields. Background in requirements analysis, software design, development and implementation, including real-time data acquisition and processing, data communications, and scientific and business applications. Experience with relational database systems, familiar with open systems hardware and software. Experience using best-practice programming methods and secure coding techniques are required. Specific experience in C++, Java and/or LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP). Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus, along with cloud development experience.
