Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Visual Basic Programmer and Machine Control Specialist to join our team. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Visual Basic Programmer and Machine Control Specialist to join our team. This role involves enhancing and modifying existing code, primarily in Visual Basic, for machine control and automation systems. Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Visual Basic applications for machine control systems
- Modify existing code to improve functionality and efficiency
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate software and hardware components
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues in machine control applications
- Take on network administration tasks including system monitoring and maintenance
- Support and train end-users on software applications and system functionalities
- Document software designs, modifications, and troubleshooting steps
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in Visual Basic programming for machine control applications
- Familiarity with motion control systems and automation processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to learn new technologies and take on new responsibilities
- Network administration experience or willingness to learn network administration tasks
