Technology & Market Analyst Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment

JOB DESCRIPTION & MAIN TASKS:

Our company creates a Technology & Market Analyst position in the context of our activities development by performing technology, market, business, and data analysis and to strengthen our Semiconductor Equipment activities by performing market, technology, and strategic analysis. You will be more focus on all the manufacturing processes (deposition (CVD, PECVD, PVD), etching, …).

You will work closely within the Manufacturing & Global Supply Chain Business Line team and interact with other business lines team members.

The position would be ideally based near Lyon (France), but remote can be possible.

Punctual business trips are expected (3/4 times a year for conferences, tradeshows, and customer visits).

As an Analyst, you will be responsible to:

• Oversee technology and industry insights from semiconductor equipment market trends,, (wafer testing, package testing, probe cards, test sockets, and advanced interface boards)
• Collect data from different sources according to our internal methodologies
• Understand the impact of the emergence of new or improved technologies in various applications
• Execute business, marketing, technology analysis within a given timeframe and budget
• Participate in the establishment and structuration of commercial offers
• Create and manage long-term relationships with customers and answer clients' inquiries
• Collect information and promote our activities in conferences and dedicated tradeshows
• Give presentations at international conferences and workshops

PROFILE:

• University Degree (Masters, Engineer, PhD) in Electrical Engineering is mandatory. An academic background in microelectronics would be a real plus (nanotechnologies, semiconductor devices, or equivalent.)
• A proven experience in manufacturing equipment would be really appreciated
• Some experience in the semiconductor testing domain would be an advantage
• Good knowledge of data modeling
• Required English level: minimum CECR - C1
