Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Shift Engineer with HV AP status or experience in HV switching to join a 2 man team in Brick Lane, London. You will be responsible for maintaining critical building systems and ensuring environmental conditions are consistently upheld in a state-of-the-art data centre.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E plant, ensuring critical systems like UPS, generators, air conditioning, and LV systems are in optimal working order.
* Supervise subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance and that work meets contractual requirements.
* Manage the Permit to Work system and ensure adherence to Health & Safety protocols.
* Fault-find using BMS and alarm data, and swiftly remedy plant faults to maintain system reliability.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance, reactive tasks, and ensure KPI/SLA compliance.
Ideal Candidate:
* HV AP certified or experienced in HV switching within the last 3 years.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems and climate control in a data centre environment.
* Excellent communication skills, customer-focused, and calm under pressure.
