Job Description

Are you a Maintenance Engineer who wants to work a 4 On, 4 Off (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off) shift pattern where you get 10 or 18 days off every 7 rotations? (Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered as training can be provided) If so, then please read on and apply.

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Shift: 4 On, 4 Off (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off)

Pay: £43,895 inclusive of £800 call out + overtime. (Call outs rare) earnings of £47,000 + achievable

Overview:

Working in modern, purpose-built manufacturing facility; we now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time served apprentice trained or above
Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding. Most of the faults are predominantly mechanical, however electrical skills can utilised if you are electrically biased. Commutable from: Hereford, Leominster, Worcester and surrounding areas.
