ERP Project Manager

The business
A leading and well established steel manufacturing business operating across the UK and globally with immediate requirements for an IT Project Manager (ERP projects background).
With over 90 years industry experience, my client operates across 50 worldwide locations, achieving in excess of £116m UK turnover and globally around £15bn.
The company is going through an IT transformation stage of development in the UK with plans to migrate some of its existing IT and ERP systems over the next 2-5 years.
The person
The successful candidate will have worked on similar ERP integration and IT deployment projects across enterprise level platforms.
You will have experience of working on both UK and international deployment projects within the IT and / or manufacturing sector, with recognised Prince 2 certification and within an Agile working environment.
The role
* At least 3 years industry experience with knowledge of working on large-scale IT system integration and ERP integrations such as SAP or EFACS
* A good understanding of SQL database and cloud technology knowledge (highly desirable)
* Ability to project manage current systems by identifying risks and implement processes to minimise project disruptions
* Responsible for achieving business objectives using own initiative and managing teams including developing plans, schedules and resource allocations
* Ability to communicate, influence and engage with both software and technical engineering teams including C-suite teams
* Solid experience in project managing system design, development and operational support at the highest level
* Hold a professional PM qualification, such as Agile, PMP or Prince2
* Produce documentation to the required quality standards and support the use of ISO27002 in system development and installation
