Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are actively recruiting on behalf of a client to fill a full time, permanent role for a
Software Developer
Location - Office based – Near Junction 36 off M1
Remuneration - £34K to £36K, dependant on experience and ability + pension + performance related bonus
Experience - Must have a minimum of 3 years, full time experience, writing code in a commercial environment
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a software developer to join an established, dynamic and exciting team of development Engineers working on bespoke manufacturing equipment from new state of the art premises.
Working with C++ in a Linux environment, the role will initially be part of a small team for a new product development that will morph into a maintenance and upgrading role of that product for the long term.
A proven ability of the following is essential;
* C++
* Linux
* Writing, testing and evaluating code
Additional skills / experience that would be beneficial, but not essential include:
* OpenCV/ Emgu CV
* SQL Databases
* Software unit testing
* Performing remote and on-site testing and customer training
* Jira work management
* Git
Applicants will work closely with the Software Engineering Manager, working in conjunction with them and the development team.
A passion for software, developing new skills and working on actual innovative products will be essential.
The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and a good attention for detail.
