Job Description
We are seeking a talented Mission Planning Systems Engineer to support the development and evolution of cutting-edge mission planning systems. You'll work on designing and integrating tools that provide mission-critical solutions to support advanced military operations.
This role involves close collaboration with teams across various engineering disciplines, enhancing mission effectiveness through innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting systems design activities for mission planning products
Providing key inputs to requirements capture, design freezes, system integration, and testing through to full product verification and certification
Collaborating closely with UK and French Systems and Software teams, as well as other parties, to enable robust design and system validation
We're ideally seeking expereince such as:
Understanding of System Engineering Process with recent experience in a systems engineering role across the full lifecycle
Experience in tools for Requirements Capture and Control (e.g. DOORS) and Configuration Management
Ability to communicate and work effectively in a collaborative environment spanning multiple teams and locations
Experience of technical problem-solving with strong analytical thinking abilities
General understanding of mission planning principles is beneficial
Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
