Job Description
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Electrical Supervisor to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Electrical Supervisor, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Electrical Supervisor, will be responsible for:
* Managing the various electrical safety checks, Fixed Wire Testing programme and all the associated LV/HV planned and reactive maintenance plus any project works.
* This successful candidate will report to the site Contract Manager and take full responsibility for the electrical technical framework and appointments across the plant.
* Managing a number of specialist electrical contractors.
* Liaising with the client to arrange associated maintenance outage windows,
* You will be the subject matter expert across the the plant.
* Support the operational delivery and development of the engineering team.
* You must be able to work to high levels of health and safety.
* Be able to work to building statutory requirements.
* Ensure regular monitoring and inspection procedures are carried out for all equipment as part of the preventative maintenance programme.
To be successful for this Electrical Supervisor role you must have:
* Background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector, or similar.
* Be qualified to either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 17th or 18th edition.
* HV experience would also be an advantage.
