Java Full Stack Engineer - Financial Services


A leading fintech in London is seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with expertise with AWS to join their innovative technology team.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Java applications for cloud-based environments.
  • Design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure solutions (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
  • Collaborate with DevOps to automate deployments and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices and high-quality code.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact features.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot framework.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins, Docker, etc.).
  • Good knowledge of databases, both relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB).
  • Proficient in version control tools like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an Agile environment.
