Business Analyst – Manufacturing automation

Location: Birmingham onsite/hybrid (requires 2-3 days a week onsite)

Length: 6 Months

Day Rate: £450-550 per day dependent on experience

IR35 Status: Outside

Our client, a much-admired manufacturer, is seeking an experienced contract Business Analyst with manufacturing automation experience to support the business with a manufacturing machinery / production line implementation. Working alongside a Project Manager, you will work on the business systems use cases for implementation of the systems and how these integrate with the surrounding business / ERP systems. You will work with the business to map out processes, support developers, provide documentation and support and train users.

Skills / Experience required

Essential

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst working within manufacturing environment(s)
• Experience of working as a Business Analyst on Manufacturing Automation / Factory Automation / Production Line / Factory Equipment Implementation Project(s)
• Experience of projects involved integration of ERP systems in manufacturing environments

Desirable

• Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, integrations e.g. (SOAP / REST web services), ERP
