PHP Developer – Mid-Level Web Developer (PHP/Laravel)

Location: Hybrid, Bradford

Salary: Up to £40K - DEO

We are currently seeking a Mid-Level PHP Developer with solid experience in Laravel on behalf of our client, a leading digital solutions provider. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge web applications in a hybrid role, based on-site in Bradford with the flexibility of remote work.

As part of the team, you'll play a key role in developing high-quality web solutions, working alongside skilled developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced web applications using PHP and Laravel, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards.
• Database Management: Design and manage database schemas using MySQL or other relational databases.
• API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for integration with various front-end systems and third-party services.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, providing innovative solutions to technical challenges.
• Stay Updated: Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance the development process.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years in web development, with a focus on PHP and Laravel.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in PHP, Laravel, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience with Vue.js or React is a plus.
• Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
• Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
