Sustainability Consultant

About the Company: Our client in the BI / Data Consulting space is looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join their Consulting division team, bringing together multi-disciplinary specialist knowledge of the industry to strategically advise and support businesses through their Sustainability journey. The client requires a Sustainability Analyst with experience in writing technical business requirements and co-ordinating projects and tasks for ESG and sustainability delivery of products and services.

The role is ultimately looking to be a full time permanent position but a contractor will be considered in the interim as the hiring is urgent. It will be a couple of days per month onsite in London. Pretty much remote but due to the stakeholder engagement in this role, some in person meetings will be required for consultation and training. Day to Day:

1. Working with clients to understand, scope and document the business and technical requirements for a sustainability data platform and BI tool.
2. Be/Become an expert in IBM Envizi ESG Suite ideally. However, end to end implementation of other ESG Platform software is also desirable.
3. Working with Project Management to ensure delivery of the best solution for multiple clients, including user training and ongoing support.
4. Work on ESG tasks with clients and internally to deliver legislatively compliant work including CSRD.

Experience Required:

• Experience of working as a Sustainability Analyst with sustainability projects and knowledge of ESG data topics and sustainability regulation and compliance.
• An understanding of the end-to-end software implementation process.
• Detailed known of GHG protocol and categories.
• Understanding of CRSD and Science based methodologies.
• Data mapping and consolidating (Nice to have)
