Fire Engineer

A reputable consultancy is seeking a fire engineer to join its team. The company specialises in surveying, engineering, project management, and fire safety, particularly focusing on high-risk buildings, including residential, mixed-use, and student accommodations.

Role Description

The role involves conducting site inspections, reviewing fire risk assessments, and applying relevant legislation and best practices to external wall and cladding projects across the UK. Collaboration with project management teams on remediation projects, such as façade replacements and alarm system installations, is also key.

Location & Flexible Working

The position covers projects in England and Wales, with a hybrid working arrangement from the London or Manchester offices.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in current fire safety legislation and technical standards. A higher education qualification in engineering or fire safety, with chartered or equivalent experience, is required.
