Information Technology Administrator

Our client in a leading law firm specialising in litigation with cases in areas such as product liability, competition, workers rights and data breaches. They are now looking to expand their internal IT team so that this can cover the security aspects of the M365 suite, specifically with Entra ID, M365 Security, Egress and Mimecast. Alongside the day to day of supporting this, there will be a chance to be involved with the compliance for Cyber Essentials and ISO27001. On top of taking ownership of the day to day security support, there will be a need to be hands on with wider IT Support as and when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage private and public cloud services like Remote Desktop Services and Microsoft 365.
• Monitor and maintain network security solutions, hardware, and equipment.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 Security, Entra ID Admin Centers, Egress Defend, Prevent, and Mimecast platforms.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and procedures, manage Microsoft 365 governance policies using Endpoint Manager, and handle data privacy and security risks (spam, phishing, etc.).
• Configure and manage firewall policies, QoS profiles, and web filtering.

Skills Profile

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 security solutions such as Entra ID (Azure AD) Identity Protection, Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Advanced administration skills in M365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange Online, Teams.
• Experience of implementing and administering Data Loss Prevention, Information Classification and Labelling.
• Experience of using Microsoft Content Search and eDiscovery tools.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, distribution lists, security groups and M365 Groups.
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving issues related to the Endpoint Security and Windows Defender
• Experience of managing and resolving alerts and incidents for Microsoft Defender for Exchange and Defender for Endpoints.
