Reinsurance Specialist / Analyst

Salary circa £75,000 + full package

This client is looking for an individual with a key interest in reinsurance and who has come from a London market underwriters or broking house. You could have been on a graduate scheme and have landed in a role which just doesn't suit you, or you could be a 2/3 jobber within a reinsurance division who can't see where the future lies, and is looking for a unique and dynamic opportunity for a forward thinking, hard working individual, hopefully half way through the ACII.

This opportunity sits within the central reinsurance purchasing team for a global syndicate, and supports a dynamic and experienced global manager within the group.

You will work in a small but collaborative team, assisting with the purchasing of reinsurance for all lines of business written within London as well as oversees offices.

This is a hands on, busy and varied role, which needs an individual with a hard working and pro-active approach, coupled with an analytical mindset. There will be opportunities to travel, lots of broker exposure and the role has the potential to develop across the business. In the short term you will work in partnership with the hiring manager to get to grips with all projects, initiatives and responsibilities.

Underwriting or broking will be considered, but you MUST have worked in London, within the London market platform. Applications will not be considered for any candidate who does not meet this requirement.
