Overview of Global Risk and Compliance

Tag maintains a Global Risk and Compliance (R&C) function that support all divisions of the business alongside the operational support functions. The function supports both internal and client facing environments. The core activities of the team span enterprise risk management, support and delivery of proactive and reactive compliance and assurance activities, and governance setting and monitoring around Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ).


This is a junior role in the Risk & Compliance team, reporting directly to the Risk &Compliance Manager. Key responsibilities:

  1. To Support diagnosis and investigation of emerging and occurring risks in region as appropriate
  2. Assist with training and awareness programmes and support the ongoing development and maintain a compliance culture within the organization.
  3. to ensure incidents are effectively followed up and reported on, utilising the agreed investigation framework, partnering with Legal and HR
  4. To periodically assess Tag operations and to perform internal/external audits (as required) on Tag ’s procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses and risk exposure.
  5. Support the regional business development teams in response to new client bids to ensure that all bid response documentation best reflects the internal governance protocols in place (for R&C owned content)
  6. To effectively communicate compliance-related issues/information to employees across all divisions of the organization and to respond to and support Tag business on queries relating to Risk and Compliance topics whenever they arise.
  7. Supporting in updating of existing compliance policies and procedures in line with applicable regulatory requirements and industry best practice.

Reporting responsibilities:

  • Gift and Hospitality and expenses reporting
  • Conflict of interest
  • Mandatory Training completion rates
  • Sanctions monitoring and analysing sanctions check results


Educational Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in risk management, business administration, economics, finance or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in operational risk and compliance role

Personal Attributes:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, to be able to inform and persuade both orally and in writing. This means excellent written and spoken English;

Enthusiastic and self-motivated, able to work effectively with a remote team and reporting manager

Very strong negotiating and influencing skills;

Persistence, an eye for detail and accuracy with the ability to manage deadlines;

Ability to continually develop knowledge and skills to maintain and improve personal performance and effectiveness in a changing environment


Desirable Skills

Experience of the creative production and advertising media industry and supply chain sourcing industry

Knowledge and Experience in Enterprise Risk Management
