ELECTRICAL PROPOSAL ENGINEER

Per azienda cliente, gruppo multinazionale leader nel mondo settore sistemi elettrici, sede in zona Milano Nord, ricerchiamo la figura di un/una: ELECTRICAL PROPOSAL ENGINEER SUMMARY OF ROLE Primary Role of the job Ø Interpret Customer’s request for quotation and project specifications Ø Prepare technical proposals and cost calculation for the solution Ø Make remarks and exceptions to project specification relevant to the proposed solution Ø Support the sales team during alignment and negotiation process Possible commitment in transversal activities, such as to support R&, D, Electrical Engineering and Sales teams in activities not related to a specific project of supply. PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The job holder should: Ø Receive Customer’s RFQ from the sales department Ø Identify Customer’s needs for specific projects Ø Identify the technical solution best fitting the functional requirements with the lower cost Ø Estimate the costs of materials, equipment, and other supplies constituting the technical solution Ø Keep contacts with suppliers in coordination with supply chain team Ø Estimate the workload required by the project in terms of Application Engineering, R&, D and Project Management Ø Prepare detailed documentation to support a bid for a project Ø Work closely with sales and technical teams to provide a complete and competitive technical solution Ø Participate in Customer meetings for such as solution presentation, technical clarification, etc. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Frequency Ø Occasional travels REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Education and Qualifications Ø University Degree in Electrical Engineering Ø MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ø SAP, AutoCad, MathCad and any Network Analizing Tool are preferential title Experience Ø Technical background in Drives and Motors Ø Knowledge in Switchgears and Distribution Systems Ø Knowledge in Medium Voltage applications is preferential title Ø Minimum 2 years in HW or SW design Languages Ø Fluent written and spoken English (B2-C1) Contratto di lavoro: Tempo indeterminato vetrinabakeca
