HOLOPHONIX is extending its scope of work with a new research project, aiming to develop active noise reduction, control and cancellation solutions.
We're seeking talents to create a new research team in Paris.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Create an up-to-date state of the art review of the active techniques for cancellation and absorption of noise and vibrations.
Participate to the design and development of future-oriented solutions incorporating real-time signal processing software; from early concepts to technical demonstrators to application in new products.
Plan development schedules with new product development milestones.
Lead communication with suppliers of acoustics, sensors, actuators and digital systems parts.
WHAT YOU NEED
Fluency in French and English.
Successfully completed studies in physics, or acoustics preferably with a doctoral degree.
High level of abstraction, strong analytical skills, interest in learning and implementing new topics independently, as well as commitment and team spirit.
Experience of acoustics and practices gained from academic research and applications in industrial projects.
Experience in the interaction of acoustics, sensors, actuators and digital systems, with signal processing and/or control technology.
Experience in system modeling through analytical models and finite element models.
Advanced knowledge of noise source modeling from ventilation systems, A/C units, fans and flow devices.
Advanced knowledge in active techniques for cancellation or absorption of noise.
Knowledge of structural dynamics, structure-borne sound, aero-acoustics and NVH (noise vibration and harshness).
Creative ideas and passion for innovative technologies at the interface of science and application.
WHAT IS NICE TO HAVE
Fluency in Arabic.
Knowledge of new products hardware CE and UL/CSA certification process.
Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
Hands-on experience with prototyping on FPGAs
