Job title: Senior/Principal Safety Engineer

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Negotiable (DOE)

Location: Epsom, Manchester or Bristol

Hours of work: Up to 40 hours per week

Applicants must have experience of the following:

• Able to obtain BPSS Clearance
• Safety Engineering experience
• Experience leading a team
• Ability to work alongside multi discipline teams
• Good stakeholder management skills

Role information:

• Lead a team to produce hazard assessments and authoring complex safety cases
• Support the critical decision-making in design, operation and decommissioning
• Deliver technical presentations when required
• Work alongside multi discipline teams
• Assist in obtaining nuclear site licenses
• Address and solve technically complex problems and present the solutions to stakeholders
• Mentor junior team members
