Job Description
We are delighted to assist our highly valued client with their temp to perm Inspector vacancy role due to growth over the last 6 months, and the launching of a new product.
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 07.30 - 16.15 1/2 hour unpaid lunch) Friday 07.30 - 12.30.
Key requirements for the role are;
* Able to read engineering drawings and use basic measuring instruments Vernier, rule, micrometre
* Computer literate Excel, Outlook, Word
* Good English both verbal and written
* Numerate as will involve counting, measuring and stock take type work from time to time
* Work under own initiative or part of team.
Duties include;
* Goods inward checking supplied parts to engineering drawings
* In process checking of sub assembled seat parts, before stamping off and returning to stores location
* EOL inspection of seats and footrests against checklists includes an element of measuring
* Raising reject note and e-mailing suppliers as required to discuss quality issues request Root cause analysis
* Occasional support for stores, picking, stock takes, include use of MRP system 123 once trained
