Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage a portfolio of large-cap leveraged finance borrowers, focusing on proactive credit risk management.
- Prepare detailed monitoring reports and perform ongoing financial performance analysis of borrowers.
- Report material developments to management, ensuring accuracy and timely communication with key stakeholders including Credit Department and Head Office.
- Support the identification and execution of new business opportunities, working closely with senior management and colleagues across various departments.
- Conduct comprehensive financial and credit analysis for transactions and prepare credit submissions, presenting findings to management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with borrower management teams and collaborate with internal teams to drive new business opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of the European leveraged finance market and sound credit/risk analysis skills, preferably gained from relevant experience in leveraged finance transactions.
- Proficiency in analyzing historical financial statements, cash flow modeling, and financial due diligence.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work across various teams within the bank.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are essential in this credit-intensive role.
- A higher diploma, vocational qualification, or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
