The Role:

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of space exploration as an IT Support Technician.

Our Network Operations Centre (NOC) is critical in coordinating and monitoring the ground segment, specifically the Telemetry, Tracking, and Command (TT&C) stations of the ESTRACK network.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Hardware Management:** Install, maintain, and support IT hardware, including servers, racks, and network devices.
• Spare Part Management:** Coordinate with vendors and manage spare parts.
• Configuration Management:** Assist in configuring applications and systems.
• Preventive Maintenance:** Perform routine maintenance on IT hardware and infrastructure.
• Ticket Handling:** Manage incident, service request, and RfC tickets.
• System Administration:** Basic administration for UNIX and Windows systems.
• Support LEOP Activities:** Assist with launch and early orbit phase activities.
• Project Contribution:** Support refurbishment projects and engineering activities.
• Reporting:** Maintain records and generate reports.

Qualifications:

• IT Support Experience:** Proven experience in IT/operational support.
• Data Centre Knowledge:** Understanding of data centre infrastructures, wiring, cooling, power distribution, and IT hardware.
• Troubleshooting Skills:** Strong troubleshooting and networking skills.
• System Administration:** Proficient in UNIX and Windows administration.
• Language Skills:** Fluent in English.
• Organisational Skills:** Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Service Oriented:** Experience in a KPI-driven service environment.
• Additional Skills:** Experience with Voice Communication Systems is a plus.
