Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Manager to lead our automotive parts production and testing laboratory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of laboratory operations, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of testing procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing a team of skilled technicians and engineers.

Responsibilities

-Develop and oversee the laboratory's operational strategies, ensuring alignment with the

company’s objectives and industry standards.

- Manage the production and testing processes for automotive parts, optimizing for efficiency,

cost-effectiveness, and quality.

-Lead the research and development efforts to innovate and improve product performance and

reliability.

- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with regulatory standards and safety protocols.

- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to integrate laboratory

findings and improve product designs.

- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of laboratory staff.

- Manage the budget, resources, and procurement for the laboratory.

- Provide technical leadership and expertise in solving complex problems related to automotive

parts production and testing.

- Prepare and present detailed reports on laboratory operations, test results, and project progress

to senior management and stakeholders.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automotive technology and testing

methodologies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field; Master’s degree or

PhD preferred.

- At least 10 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a focus on automotive parts testing

and production.

- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team of technical professionals.

In-depth knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations.

- Proven track record of improving laboratory operations and product testing procedures.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across various

departments and with external stakeholders.

- Proficiency in laboratory software and database management.
