Job Description

Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting beneficial and preferred More than 3 years experience in a finance or accounting role Strong Excel experience Reside in the Helderberg area Duties and Responsibilities: Perform debtor reconciliations to ensure accuracy of outstanding receivables Conduct creditor reconciliations (matching payments to invoices) Reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracy Assist with cash flow forecasting and management Process supplier invoices (including debtor and producer invoices if applicable) Ensure accurate allocation of costs to purchase orders Verify invoices meet SARS valid tax invoice requirements Capture payments in the accounting system (matching payments to invoices) Issue remittance advices to suppliers Maintain timely receipt of supplier invoices and statements Manage supplier correspondence and follow-up actions Obtain necessary approvals for invoice payments Prepare financial reports and ad-hoc reports as needed Assist with the preparation of the annual audit Manage filing systems for invoices and other financial documents Process debit/credit card transactions Post journal entries for various accounting activities PLEASE NOTE : Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
