AESTHETIC-SPA THERAPIST (Confident all-rounder with focus on advanced therapies) SOMERSET-WEST - Cape Winelands, Western Cape (ZA) START: November 2024 TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS Monday – Sunday 08:00 - 20:00 (shifts apply) | Trading hours will be reduced for winter months Rotate open & close days off REPORT TO: Spa Manager SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS R9,500 BASIC Salary per month (neg based on required skills & experience) Service Commission Retail Commission Incentives Tips / Gratuities Excellent earning potential MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA ( we do not offer permits ) CIDESCO / ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / City & Guilds / BABTAC or internationally recognized accreditation DIPLOMA Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology BONUS - Dermal Aesthetics (not minimum requirement but nice to have) Based in or within reasonable travel distance to SOMERSET-WEST Due to the location, it is best that you have your own reliable transport (we work shifts, so ride sharing may prove difficult) Fit and healthy to perform therapies back to back Beautifully groomed, manicured and looking the part of an Aesthetic/Spa Professional Confident and knowledgeable on advanced skin care and ingredients Confident retailer - ability to prescribe home care confidently EXPERIENCE: At least SEVEN years post-graduation experience (not including work integrated learning / experiential learning) within the Spa/Beauty or Aesthetics industries Senior Therapist / Lead therapist experience Cruise Ship OR international employment experience is favorable high-end salon or aesthetic therapy experience Experience working with active ingredients KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS: Confident and skilled in all standard SPA, BEAUTY & SKIN CARE services Confident performing a detailed skin analysis Confidently perform advance skin care treatments, peels and resurfacing treatments Skin penetrating treatments including microneedling / nano needling / Derma Pen / Skin Pen / CIT Light-based therapies experience (LASER / IPL / LED) Ability to effectively prescribe relevant home care to clients accordingly Retail confident Confidently re-book clients where applicable Strong team dynamic, but able to work on your own without supervision Ability to work in luxury environment with high-end clients from around the world Able to commit to working hospitality hours (weekends, major holidays and shifts)
