Technical Support Engineer for C&I and Utility

Job Responsibilities as Technical Support Engineer for C&I and Utility

1. Direct, hands-on experience in energy storage products for C&I and utility applications, including expertise covering battery technology, power conversion systems, and integration across various systems and operating conditions.
2. Provide energy system design for customers in the pre-sales process and ensure after-sales support.
3. Perform remote and on-site system commissioning of the energy storage solutions.
4. Manage customer's technical questions and expectations to successfully install and commission systems.
5. Work with the product line technical team and suppliers to support the client, troubleshoot system failures, and investigate and create failure fault analysis reports to improve the product and processes.
6. Create written and multimedia technical and training documentation, including system documentation and single-line diagrams, and conduct customer training sessions.
7. Provide feedback to the R&D team to ensure growing product expertise.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in a technical-related field.
2. Experience in C&I Battery solutions is preferred.
3. Knowledge and understanding of electrical design codes and standards.
4. Bilingual English/German speaking skills.
5. Strong interests in technology, renewable energy, and/or energy storage.
6. Strong customer orientation, coupled with good discipline, teamwork, and self-motivation.
7. Be willing to undertake frequent business travel.
8. Possession of a valid driving license.
