We are looking for a System Implementation Engineer (gn) for a customer Project.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation and commissioning of marine communication systems on ships for our customers worldwide.
• Responsible for the technical integration of communication systems into the overall system, considering IT and telecommunications standards.
• Configuration and fine-tuning of hardware and software components according to specific customer requirements.
• Development and execution of test procedures to verify radio and communication systems.
• Systematic error analysis and problem-solving in collaboration with engineering and development teams.
• Creation and updating of documentation for quality assurance and acceptance of communication systems.
• Conducting upgrades and maintenance operations to ensure reliable operation.

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training or degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, information technology, or a related technical field.
• Quick grasp of complex system contexts; ideally, experience in integrating marine communication systems (newcomers are welcome).
• Basic knowledge or willingness to familiarize yourself with the principles of telecommunications.
• Openness to learn about deployed technologies, including network technologies and operating systems such as Linux and Windows, virtualization, and containers.
• Ability to creatively solve technical problems and develop innovative approaches for system improvement.
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork combined with a self-responsible work style.
• Good proficiency in German and English (Necessary to Communicate with Colleagues), along with a fundamental willingness to travel, complete your profile.
