AR Accountant with French

Your responsibilities

  • Analysis, reconciling, cleansing, clarifying discrepancies on the customer account.
  • Continuous improvement approach – identifying areas for improvements.
  • Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger on a regular basis and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Supporting of month end, year-end activities incl. bank reconciliation, preparing reports.
  • Assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining AR policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Credit control, credit limit management, customer discount & Rebates management, penalties management, customer data management.
  • Cash collection, dispute management, delivery control for delinquent accounts, managing customer & invoice queries, order release process, Issuing recharge invoices.
  • Performing AR reconciliations and bad debt reserve management.
  • Maintaining good relationships with customers.
  • Co-operate remotely and directly with local, regional and global multinational teams.

Our requirements

  • University degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivables (ideally within SSC/BPO environment).
  • Good command of English language (both written and spoken).
  • Good knowledge of French language (both written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical skills with good Excel and attention to details skills.
  • Curiosity and growth mindset.
  • Continuous improvement and proactive approach.
  • Open minded and demonstrating can do attitude.
  • Knowledge of SAP/Navision would be an advantage.
  • Team player - willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.

The AR Accountant with French will be responsible for cash allocation, collection management, customer management, reconciliation accounts, AR month end tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AR processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. This position reports directly to the Accounting Team Leader and collaborates with various departments to support the company’s financial operations.
