GL Accountant

Your responsibilities

• Performing month end, quarter end and the year-end close activities
• Calculating and preparing journal entries
• Reconciling of balance sheet accounts including follow-ups with local finance teams and business partners
• Participating in audit process in relation to statutory statements and ensuring appropriate controls are in place
• Preparing reports for Main Statistical Office
• Supporting preparation of tax declarations, tax audits and other tax matters
• Supporting Accounting and Tax Manager on daily basis in identifying, defining and implementing process improvements and processes standardization
• Playing an active role in implementing new financial solutions and tools
• Ensuring proper company policies/procedures are being followed
• Being up to date with accounting laws including PL GAAP and IFRS
• Communicating with internal and external counterparties on a regular basis, ensuring accurate responses to any queries

Our requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Controlling, Tax etc. (experience in manufacturing company will be an asset)
• Very good English
• Knowledge of SAP, MS Excel and other MS Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Self-motivation and ability to work under own autonomy and as part of a global team
• Strong written communication skills
• Good time and task management
• High customer service skills
• Focus on goal achieving
• Technical learning
• Ability to learn quickly
