R2R Finance and Accounting Junior Manager with French/Italian/Portuguese/German

Your responsibilities

  • General Leger Accountant responsibilities.
  • Guardian of month close for the country (having overall oversight on the country books).
  • Communicating through agreed governance with Tax advisors/corporate in order to translate GAAP changes into business processes and operations (identification of process changes operationalization handled by accounting point of contact).
  • Analyzing and identifying balances and movements requiring explanation and coordinating within business processes to clarify and correct if needed.
  • Acting as audit contact.

Our requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in working within accounting or finance function (financial analysis, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting).
  • Experience in overseeing financial activities of country etc.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese / Italian / French / German (C1 level).
  • Management experience.
  • At least a Bachelor's degree.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP/IFRS and ability to ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements.
  • Experienced in providing guidance and recommendations to the team of General Ledger accountants.
  • Thinking strategically and able to contribute to long-term financial planning.

YOUR ROLE

As an R2R Junior Manager you will be expected to operate at the level of Subject Matter Expert for the client specific application of the client processes. You will be part of the processes, with the main focus on very complex transactions and resolving complex issues, as well as ensuring that the processes and controls are executed as agreed. You will be expected to be aware of the business context for the analyzed data, draw insights and make relevant recommendations to deliver valuable outcomes to the client. In addition, you will be expected to drive process improvement through technology related tools within the given area of expertise.
