Payments Operations Specialist with Hebrew

Your responsibilities

• Process (input, control, monitoring, and approval) of payment orders from HSBC customers: outgoing/incoming, domestic/international, return of funds, cover matching management, etc.
• Seek authorization with branch concerning account restrictions, liquidity availabilities, signature verification High Risk Countries, etc.
• Update the procedures/manuals - upon Team Leader / Manager request and co-operate in solving all complaints issues connected to payment activities.
• Provide practical training and support for new joiners/cross-trained staff and actively participate in initiatives which may lead to process simplification or automation.
• Be Team Leader’s back-up, prepare reports on Team Leader’s request, reply to Interface emails and requests.
• Provide support for other teams in Department when required.
• Regularly monitor queues and assigning team members to tasks accordingly as well as escalate all technical problems or incidents.
• Monitor team’s generic mailbox.

Our requirements

• Payments or Finance experience and knowledge.
• Hebrew Language skills- mandatory.
• Commercial orientation combined with a customer driven approach.
• IT literacy.
• Professional experience in shared services environment would be an asset.
• At least communicative English language skills (B2 - minimum).
• Analytical reasoning capabilities.
• Strong interpersonal, communications and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within international environment and under time pressure.
