Strategic Pricing Analyst

Your responsibilities

• Support development of value-based pricing methodology: managing and updating of list price models (jointly with local analysts based in NA & EUR), facilitating changes and collaborating with Region Pricing Managers to ensure translation to local list price
• Provide analysis of the financial impact and revenue risks associated with different pricing strategies. Detailed KPI monitoring on a range of pricing analytics
• Perform background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry pricing trends
• Build databases to analyze prices quoted, both stock and end user, and determine the results and cost/benefit of these pricing decisions
• Review and develop competitive pricing analysis for new launches and existing products
• Secures execution of Customer Classification: support Regional Pricing Managers with Customer Classification tool implementation and maintenance
• Create pricing models for faster analysis and decision making, evaluating gains and risks
• Support pricing training for the organization

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or Financial field
• Minimum 3 years of analytical experience preferable
• Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel , Power BI, and data analytics
• Attention to detail, with good time management skills
• Ability to understand and interpret trends as reviewed in key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Basic understanding of Descriptive, Predictive, and Prescriptive Analytics
• Knowledge of industry technologies (SAP or Pricing Management systems, analytical software) Preferable

About the role:

In this role You will be responsible for providing detailed analytics, pricing tools, statistics, etc to enable the regional or local management to make more informed pricing decisions. You will report to the Commercial Analytics Manager.
